My name is Shana West and I live in Taisho-cho, Kochi-ken, Japan. I am 25 years old and I graduated in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. I studied abroad in Greece for four months at College Year in Athens. I also attended the Linworth AP of Worthington Schools. I am currently working as an ALT with the JET Program, teaching English in 3 Japanese high schools.

This website is my first decent attempt at the inter-web, though I have long been an admirer of many sites and wanted to make my own. It's also my attempt to stay in touch with family and friends, and to possibly find people I haven't seen in ages. Hi world.
