Massive Attack - Mezzanine

Massive Attack-Mezzanine

This is one of the few albums I can listen to without skipping something; the sounds go from sexy to lazy Sunday morning smoothly and without absurdity. I even had Exchange in my head during a day spent at the onsen (hot spa) and it was the perfect soundtrack.

The Avalanches - Since I Left You

The Avalanches-Since I Left You

I really enjoy the dreamy, complicated sound of this album. Definitely a treat for people who like lots of little details.

Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf

Queens of the Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age really surprized me by turning out to be metal. The only song I had heard for a long time was "No one knows" and I was addicted to it for a really long time before getting the album. Great, energetic, deliciously evil sounds.

Cake - Motorcade of Generosity

Motorcade of Generosity

Cake is one of my all-time favorites. They always create catchy, pleasant tunes that I find myself humming all day, whether it's one of their cover pieces or an original work. Definitely one to check out if you haven't already.
